Dear Primary (EC/ES) Families,
We are incredibly grateful to the room parents who have already signed up to support our homeroom classes this year. Room parents play a vital role in organizing special celebrations, class events, and activities, ensuring that teachers feel supported and that our students have memorable experiences.
There are still a few classes that need room parents. If your child’s class is listed below, please consider volunteering as the room parent. If you are interested, please let Ms. Kemi Adenusi (kadenusi@aislagos.org) and your child’s homeroom teacher know. Thank you for your continued support!
Room Parents needed: ECA and ECB, G1, G3B and G4B
Nigeria Culture Day
We are excited to share that preparations for Nigeria Culture Day are well underway! Some teachers and students have already begun learning about the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria in class, and others will begin soon. Students will be engaged in lessons and activities that will deepen their understanding of the diverse traditions, customs, and history that make up the fabric of Nigeria.
Planning meetings have been held, and students are actively participating in dance classes to prepare for the big day. Below, you’ll be able to see which region each class will be focusing on.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you on October 4th and showcase the incredible learning and creativity that’s been happening across the school.
