Dear Primary (EC/ES) Families,
Thank you to those who attended our Back to School Night. The level of engagement was incredibly high, and it was wonderful to see so many of you actively participating in discussions about your child’s education. If you were unable to attend, teachers will include the PDF of their presentation in their weekly newsletter.
Core Values in the Primary School
In primary school, our core values are embedded in everything we do. Each class displays and reinforces these values in unique ways, helping to shape a positive and nurturing environment for our students. Showing respect, being responsible, acting with integrity, showing empathy, and demonstrating courage are values that we strive to model and teach our students on a daily basis. Your partnership in reinforcing these values at home is vital to our students’ success. Thank you once again for your continued support and involvement in our school community.
After School Activities (ASAs) Procedures
ASAs begin on Monday, September 9. ASAs run from 2:30 to 3:30. Below you will find procedures for ASAs.
Session 1: September 9th - November 15th
Session 2: November 25th - February 28th
Session 3: March 31st -June 5th
- At the end of the day, all students go to the courtyard.
- ASA coaches will be waiting at the picnic tables in front of the gym, where students will meet them before heading to their activities.
- Once activities are finished, students will go to the ES playground to wait for pickup.
- If ES students need to wait for their siblings, they can either wait at the ES playground or in the library.
- Please note that the soccer field is not an option, as it will be used for ASAs.
- ASAs are not offered to Early Childhood students, as they are typically exhausted at the end of the day and benefit from going home.
