Dear Primary Families, 

It’s hard to believe the school year is almost over! Today, we were inspired by our amazing grade 4 students, who showed true courage as they led an assembly for the entire primary section. We are so proud of their bravery and leadership. As adults, we know that being an upstander isn’t easy, it takes real courage to do what’s right. 

As we wrap up April, we’re excited for all that May will bring. Our biggest highlight is the Sound of Music performance. On Monday, EC to Grade 2 will enjoy a sneak peek at school, while Grades 3–5 will attend the theater show on May 7. Please complete the permission form by Monday, May 4.

PE HIGHLIGHT

Our last Dribbling With Feet lesson was held on natural grass to wrap up the unit. All students played barefoot and enjoyed a fun human-foosball game with a lot of vinyl balls. It was a very enjoyable lesson for everyone, with lots of goals, a lot of communication, collaboration, and celebrations. There was constant movement and plenty of energy throughout the session.

LIBRARY 

We’re excited about the improvements coming to campus this summer! As part of this process, the library will need to close a bit earlier than usual.

The final day for book checkout for both students and parents will be Thursday, April 30. To help us prepare for the move, we kindly ask that all library materials be returned by Friday, May 15.

We truly appreciate your support in helping your student locate and return any borrowed books on time.
