Primary (ECES) Connect - 24 October 2024

Dear Primary Families,

Welcome back! We hope you all had a wonderful break, filled with plenty of rest and relaxation. Spending time with family and friends is truly the best investment. My husband and I were lucky enough to visit our children in Abidjan, where the weather was beautiful, and we made some great new memories. Now, we’re happy to be back in Lagos, ready for the final stretch until the December break.

So much has already happened since the start of the school year, and we have even more exciting things ahead. The students returned full of energy and are ready for new learning experiences. Some will be heading out on field trips, others are diving into exciting projects, and many are enjoying sports during ASAs.

Next week, students are eagerly looking forward to Spirit Week, organized by our Student Council. Let’s get creative and show some real school spirit by dressing as:

October 28 - Sports Day

October 29 - Backwards Day

October 30 - Dress like a planet, going to a planet or a Martian

October 31 -  Book Character Day

November 1st - 100 Years Old!

Our Student Ambassadors were busy planning the Spirit Week before the break! They also worked on a very special project centered around Eagle Expectations that will be presented to everyone during the November 1st assembly.

Finally, Student Leaders explored suggestions from our students about making our AISL and Nigerian Community a better place for everyone. Students and advisors are excited about new projects this year!
