Dear Primary Families,
We want to start by expressing our gratitude to the PTO for organizing such an incredible Family Fun Day for the AISL community. Our campus was beautifully decorated and buzzed with activities for all ages, including indoor and outdoor games, food, photo booths, and more. A heartfelt thank you for all that you do!
G2 AUTHOR VISIT
This week, we had the pleasure of hosting Nigerian author, Efe Farinre, who read her folktale books to G2 students. G2, having just completed a unit on folktales, greatly benefited from this enriching experience, deepening their understanding of Nigerian folktales.
KINDERGARTEN PERFORMANCE: The Best Pet Show Ever
On Wednesday morning, our kindergarten students wowed us with their performance, "The Best Pet Show Ever." With charming portrayals of cats with personality, dogs as best friends, pet allergies, pet snakes, and even a bunny tsunami, the event was a hit among parents, teachers, and students alike.
G1 PERFORMANCE: Cookies
On Thursday morning, our Grade 1 students delighted us with their performance of the musical "Cookies." It was a joy to watch as each student represented a different cookie—chocolate chip, Oreo, animal, sugar, fortune, macaron, and many more. Initially, they were proud of their batches and hesitant to mix and exchange.
However, by the end of the performance, they all embraced the message that it takes courage to try new things, make new friends, and learn. The event concluded with a heartwarming and delicious cookie exchange.
Thank you, Ms. Monica and parents, for providing the wonderful cookies!
PRIMARY SPORTS DAY
Additionally, we are pleased to announce that Primary Sports Day has been rescheduled for April 17th. On this day, students are kindly asked to wear their house shirts and come prepared for a fun-packed morning. Remember, sportsmanship is key to a successful event.
Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm.
