The AISL chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is comprised of 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students who have a cumulative 3.0 GPA and must volunteer a minimun of 20 hours each year toward school related community projects. Past projects have include raising money to purchase school materials and furniture for a local village school outside of Lagos, recycling used paper and calendars for the Anglo-Nigerian Braille scoiety, and painting a 6' x 12' mural for the Lagos Motherless Babies Home. Students also volunteer at many AWC (American Women's Club) fundraisers.
