National Junior Honor Society

"The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is America's premier organization established to recognize outstanding middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character, and Citizenship. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since their beginnings in 1921 and 1929. Students at AISL are asked to apply for membership each semester if they have achieved the required 3.25 GPA at the end of the previous semester."
