National Honor and Junior Honor Society

The AISL chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) grades 10 to 12 and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) grades 7 to 9 is comprised students who have a cumulative 3.0 GPA and must volunteer a minimum of 20 hours each year to school related community projects. Past projects have included raising money to purchase school materials and furniture for a local village school outside Lagos, recycling used paper and calendars for the Anglo-Nigerian Braille society, and painting a 6' x 12' mural for the Lagos Motherless Babies Home. Students also volunteer at many AWC (American Women's Club) fundraisers.
