Middle School Principal - Sharon Schauss

Welcome to the American International School of Lagos and the AISL Middle School (grades 6-8). Our middle school program is designed to engage middle school students in an educational program that supports rigorous academics, social skill development, and a love of the arts, athletics, and activities.  Our teachers are passionate about teaching, and they are committed to teaching students of this age.

We believe that there must be a strong link between parents and the school in order for students to achieve success.  Parents are encouraged to contact staff when questions arise.  There are many opportunities for parents to participate in their student’s education and activities.

The middle school curriculum is designed to teach students the skills and concepts they need in each of their academic subjects, and to be critical thinkers and inquirers. It is our goal to prepare all of our students to be able to move into the International Baccalaureate curriculum in grade eleven.  The foundation starts in middle school.
