High School Principal - Sharon Schauss

Welcome to the American International School of Lagos and the AISL High School (grades 9-12).  This is an exciting time for our high school.  We are an International Baccalaureate World School, our high school athletic and activities opportunities are expanding, and our new high school facility will be opening in August 2010.  The goal of the high school program is to prepare our high school students to be able to compete for admission to the best universities in the world and to be global citizens.

The first graduating class will be the Class of 2010.  Students will earn an AISL Diploma and may also earn an International Baccalaureate Diploma.  All students will be prepared to participate in the International Baccalaureate coursework beginning in grade eleven.  In support of the AISL Vision and Mission – students are also expected to participate in community service.  We believe by offering a rigorous academic curriculum and by teaching responsible citizenship – we will be empowering our students to achieve to their highest potential.

Parents are encouraged to know their student’s teachers, understand the curriculum taught, and stay involved at AISL.  The high school years are a collaboration between students, staff, and families.
