Elementary/Middle School Principal - Bill Martin-Muth
AISL Elementary and Middle Schools are dedicated to providing your children a safe, nurturing environment that supports and challenges their development. Children in the elementary years are developing the necessary skills, both social and academic, to become confident and engaged students. Our skilled, professional teachers at AISL involve children in the learning process by focusing on challenging questions, through creative problem solving activities, and by engaging critical thinking skills.
The 6th through 8th grade years mark a special time in a student's journey toward becoming a young adult. Our goal at the Middle School is to provide an educational experience that is enriching and rewarding, as well as being truly unique to the teenage years. Learning in the Middle School is an energetic process of discovery that stretches each student's ability to think, create, and grow.
Absolutely integral to our programs are classes focusing on library, health and fitness, art, music, technology, world language and Nigerian culture. Children work collaboratively in a diverse, multicultural environment where excellence is the standard.
I want to invite you to be involved through the many volunteer opportunities that are available to you: Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), coaching opportunities through our Saturday Sports program, Scouts, and special events like Nigerian Culture Day, Carnival, etc. On behalf of our community of parents, students, and staff, I want to welcome you to AIS. As we say in Nigeria, "You are Welcome!"
