Welcome to the American International School of Lagos!
AISL is now entering its 46th year of operation and has a long history of academic excellence. We are an American Embassy affiliated school. Our curriculum is based on the American model of education. We are proud to share that The American International School of Lagos is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and has earned full International Baccalaureate Diploma authorization. We have a highly challenging school curriculum and our overall standardized test scores are among the highest in the world. Our high school graduates attend and thrive in some of the most competitive universities worldwide.

AISL has earned a world wide reputation for being an outstanding educational institution. Our students are AMAZING! Even experienced overseas teachers find our students some of the most motivated and hardest working students they have taught in their careers. AISL is not only an academically challenging school; we also strive for our students to become well rounded and caring adult citizens. Community service is a very important component of our school mission. It is part of our school culture for our students to be involved in projects which help the less fortunate in this country.
